NON-FICTION ELEMENTARY BOOK CLUB

LEXILE 600-800 / ESL STUDENTS WELCOME

In this class, we will focus on Non-Fiction texts. We will review comprehension questions and well as learn tools to use while we are reading to help retain the information read. I love to teach and am high energy as well as calming to students that may be feeling timid at first. We will be reading out loud to each other and focusing on our comprehension. I look forward to reading with your student.

Show and Tell Class

In this Ongoing course, we will learn conversational skills and foundation signs while learning songs along the way!

In this class, we will be learning new vocabulary based on weekly topics. In addition to the weekly vocabulary, we will be learning how to use these words in complete signed sentences.

Social Club (Bring a Snack!)

This class will provide a place for students to have student-led discussions and an opportunity to make new friends in a safe online environment. Students are allowed to snack during class. :)
